Senior Tory MP Bill Cash paid his daughter £15,000 in rent from Parliamentary expenses despite owning a flat closer to Parliament.

Mr Cash named a London flat owned by his daughter Laetitia as his second home in 2004-5 and claimed for rental payments, the Daily Telegraph revealed.

Mr Cash told the paper that "what is lawful is appropriate" but he would repay the money if required to.

Fuckem - why should I apply higher moral standards to MY life than they do?
Don't bother voting in any future elections because all you'll get is a different flavour of thief, con artist & self serving, mealy mouthed shit.

I hope their jail terms are short so the taxpayer isn't paying for their BB & EM, then throw the fuckers out of the UK along with their co defendants.

I'd personally prefer to see them & their father put up against a wall & shot - it'll save others from whatever evil this lot inevitably get up to in the future.

Bent Politicians: More Thoughts

The continuing revelations about MPs on the make doesn't seem to be striking home to most people I mention it to.
They seem to accept dishonest, if not outright criminal actions by those who have the temerity to decide on the laws governing this country.

Well I don't.

These buggers don't only soak the gravy train for all they can whilst actually elected but they also receive a bloody good pension after not much time in post.
Labour, Conservative, Li-Dem; it doesn't seem to matter which part of the political spectrum they come from, as they ALL have crooks in their midst.

Every single MP who has played fast & loose with their "legitimate" expenses claims should be disbarred from politics for life & stripped of any publicly funded entitlements - without exception.
Those who have broken the law should NOT be forgiven but they SHOULD be prosecuted & jailed.
Why the fuck should I continue to pay taxes to support these parasites?

The Magical Time

It's 03:45 & the birds are chorusing their song to the new day.

The long days over the next eight weeks or so are one of the positives of living "up North" & more than compensate for the dark days of Winter.
What IS disheartening is the speed at which this time of year comes around......

In a matter of months, the State surveillance system will become even more intrusive & open to abuse by those who set the rules (yes - those same people who lie & cheat & play fast & loose with their expense accounts.....).

Day after day, MP's from both parties are exposed as having their hands in the till, yet there's no sign of criminal proceedings against them.
Why the FUCK should I be paying taxes when these already overcompensated twats are STEALING from the coffers?
I was brought up to be honest & used to believe that those chosen to administer the nation were of the same mind.

Been missing

If there's still anyone out there who reads this, I apologise fro the lack of input.
Truth is, I'm suffering badly from stress to the point of having what might be called a breakdown back around Easter.
I can't say the response from the medical profession has been effective, with an initial prescription of the dreaded Prozac appearing to do little if anything.
Bloody silly anyway IMO, as I'm stressed rather than depressed & the damn' stuff doesn't take into account my need to make decisions & carry on running a business.
Being medicated into dullness is fine for a middle manager in a public sector job, where they get a year on the sick followed by an industrial tribunal & a six figure compensation package but all it does for us stupid gits who actually run a business is send us to the wall.

Of course I could always become an MP & after five years I would have enough stashed away to no longer give a fuck........
