Goodbye Cadburys

I fail to see how Kraft's takeover of Cadbury's can have anything but negative connotations for the UK.

Straight away we get the initial job cuts:

I'll bet this is bullshit too:

My guess is that ALL production will have been moved to Eastern Europe &/or China within five years, with the usual "costs" crap being touted as the reason, rather than the "profits for the shareholders at ANY cost" which is the reality in these moves.

Fuck Cadbury's board of directors & fuck the shareholders who pushed for this.

No Megamosque

And rightly so.

These people have been breaking the law for several years, so it's well past time they were dealt with.
As far as I'm concerned, there shouldn't be ANY mosques in the UK until Saudi Arabia ceases discrimination against ANY other religions.

So I'm off to New Mexico on Thursday to visit friends & put holes in some paper.
I haven't shot handgun or military semi-auto's for nearly 15 months, so I reckon the paper has a chance.......
I might go & have a look at El Paso just to see somewhere new & maybe drive around a bit.

Road Salt Bullshit

As anyone in the UK is all too aware of, our local government organisations have utterly failed in their DUTY to citizens when it comes to dealing with the recennt cold spell.
Not only that but their penny-pinching is costing the NHS tens of millions of pounds treating injuries that are a direct result of this incompetence.
In my area alone ther have been 87 fracture patients attributed to falls on icy paths & if only 50% of those were on public rights of way, we're looking at £400,000.
I wonder how many deaths will come about too.
The least these dickheads could do is dig loads of beach sand & spread THAT on the paths.
These same wankers haven't thought it necessary to grit ONE ROAD into the village where my parents live, one consequence being that they've run out of heating oil because the delivery driver says the road is too dangerous. No offer of help from the council of course, despite them being in their 80's.
The same councillors haven't even had all the busy pavements gritted in Whitehaven but they HAVE proposed spending tens of thousands of pounds on a Blackberry phone each - OUR money of course.

These self serving shits need voting out at the next election & the senior executives at both councils need sacked because they aren't worth a tenth of what they're paid.
I hold councillor Elaine Woodburn, head of Copeland Council in utter contempt because HER answer to council failures (which are manifold) is to have them hidden & slight those who complain.

Is it any wonder socialism is a failure when these twats are the best they have?

Shooting in Finland

I see this shooting is being labelled as a "domestic incident" because the guy murdered his girlfriend first.

Maybe her killing was but I suggest the others were a spur of the moment decision to attack non Muslims.
The Finn police wont comment on his religion but I will: He was an Albanian Muslim - hardly a surprise with a name like Ibrahim Shkupolli.
Once again, this is a mass shooting that might have been stopped sooner if such severe restraints weren't placed on citizens' natural Rights to carry an effective means of self defence.
