More Lethal Options Given to Cumbria's Police

I see the so-called alternative to using a firearm is now being touted as "protecting the public":

Yeah, right.
The Police appear to have forgotten that the Taser is supposed to be less lethal than using a firearm, rather than an escalation from physical restraint to cattle prod.

The Conservative Party Is Toast

Well that's it then: Cameron's clowns have set off down the same undemocratic road as Labour in refusing to allow UK citizens a vote on whether or nor this nation is subsumed into a European superstate.
The Party has become co centrist that it is virtually indistinguishable from the rest of the populists, with its "anything to get a vote" policies.

Oh well; I'd best be off to see what kind of policies the UKIP has outside of the obvious.......

More Arrogance From Labour

Apart from those who use them, politicians as a whole know fuck all about drugs. Because of this, they hire people who DO know about drugs to advise them.
Unfortunately Labour politicians are so fucking arrogant that when the advice given doesn't fit in with the screaming headlines of the tabloids, it is the advisor who is firstly ignored & then sacked for having the temerity to give contrary advice.
