The sheer hypocrisy of Labour & whichever of the Milliband clones currently leads them knows no bounds when it comes to bank bonuses.
It was LABOUR who signed the bloody contract of employment which contained the RBS bonus system in the first place.
Now they're wanting that contract of employment torn up, whilst at the same time bemoaning the re-drawing of public employees' contracts.
They have the gall to push for a Commons vote on the matter too:
"A Labour source told BBC political correspondent Vicky Young that David Cameron and the government had failed to act and it was right for Parliament to voice its opinion.
He said this was "one of those moments" when the public was so outraged that Parliament had to assert itself."
This country needs a different political system altogether because the one we have is run by self serving arseholes who see scoring off the other Parties as more important than fixing what's broken.

Chasing Pirates the RN Way...
....with a fleet supply vessel:
"The Royal Navy has captured 13 Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean, the Ministry of Defence says.
RFA Fort Victoria and a US Navy vessel intercepted the pirates' boat, which had refused to stop despite warning shots from a Royal Navy helicopter.
Royal Marines in speedboats approached the vessel and boarded it, capturing 13 pirates and seizing weapons.
Defence Secretary Philip Hammond said the UK troops, part of a Nato-led force, could be "proud" of the success.
"The Royal Navy and Royal Marines are playing a crucial role in securing and protecting international sea lanes that are vital to global trade," the minister said."
How about "the nation should be saddened to see its once proud Navy being forced to use supply vessels because they haven't enough warships to cover their commitments"?
Apart from that, I still think the Russkies have a more effective method of preventing pirates repeating their attacks....

Imprisonment Without Trial
Something that happens elsewhere perhaps?
Imagine not even being charged with an offence & than being imprisoned for seven years without a trial.
Pretty nasty huh?
That's just the kind of thing we expect from repressive regimes.
"He has never been charged or faced trial in this country and denies any wrongdoing. "
It's a bugger when you find out it is the UK government that has him incarcerated.
Yet more proof that justice is a joke here & freedom an illusion & a privilege, rather than the RIGHT they ought to be.

Peterlee Shootings
Whilst this shooting is a tragedy for those involved, I fail to see why the Police should be concentrating on the fact that the killer legally owned six firearms, as by their own statement it appears only one was used:
"Police investigating the deaths of three women and the man who shot them before killing himself are expected to focus on why he owned six guns.
Michael Atherton, 42, had licences for the firearms despite police revealing they were told three years ago that he had threatened to harm himself. "
Surely if the weapon used was so important, the Police would have been making public their investigation into the weapon(s) used by the sacked Police officer who murdered his wife & one daughter whilst injuring his other children recently. Instead the story doesn't even mention what was used.
Or how about this family killing, where a knife or knives were used - no questions as to why there were knives in the kitchen.
Firearms don't kill people; people kill people.
None of the above will of course make the slightest difference to the thought processes of the anti gun crowd, with their irrational fears & insane rambling.

Bureaucratic Bullshit
"Ending tobacco displays in shops will protect young people from unsolicited promotions, helping them to resist the temptation to start smoking.
It will also help and support adults who are trying to quit."
What a load of utter twaddle; IF the UK Government had any real desire to cut deaths caused by tobacco, they would BAN it immediately.
Of course they don't want to cut off the highly lucrative tax revenue that comes from said tobacco sales......
....like three times the cost to the NHS of treating smoking related illness.
I reckon I'm pretty qualified to pontificate on this matter, as up until less than three years ago, I was a 60 a day smoker & one MAJOR factor in stopping was telling myself "no more tax & duty for those hypocritical bastards".
There IS a damn' good reason to stop smoking, or better yet, never starting: Because it WILL kill you & the Government WILL make an obscene amount of money from colluding in your painful death.
It will also help and support adults who are trying to quit."

Words Of Wisdom
It is a pity the pathetic politicians of today cannot see the self evident truth so simply put by Cesare Beccaria back in 1764:
""Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.""
The evidence giving foundation to this statement is clear, with every US state that has enacted legislation legalising concealed carry seeing a greater fall in crime than where the politicians prefer to see unarmed victims at the mercy of armed criminals.
I can only dream that one day politicians in the UK will come to perceive this self evident truth.

"Just a Shoplifter
Once again a judge fails to remove an unrepentant habitual offender from society:
"A woman whose car ran out of petrol in a supermarket car park after she shoplifted a large amount of alcohol has been given a suspended sentence.
Rose Devlin, 59, from Ebsworth Street, Moston, was caught on CCTV wheeling the drinks out of Asda's Chadderton store in Oldham in June.
She repeated the offence at the Hulme store in Manchester in October.
Devlin said she was "just a shoplifter" and was not sorry. "I've done it all my life and I don't regret it," she said.
At Manchester Crown Court, she was given an eight month sentence, suspended for 22 months."
I can only hope the fucking ugly bitch falls over & breaks her neck at the first opportunity.
These bloody parasites are a good advert for having a penal colony on a remote part of the Outer Hebrides - with no parole.

Sentencing Silliness
If you burgle someone's house, trash the place & shit on the beds, it is unlikely you will be jailed if it is your first conviction.
If however, you are a 19 year old who gets jury service (bloody stupid idea having someone so young on a jury IMO) & you bunk off to a musical, then you get jailed for 14 days over Christmas.
"Judge Rudland said he was jailing Banks, who could spend Christmas in prison, for contempt of court "with a heavy heart". However, the judge said that lying to court officials for such a frivolous reason was a serious offence."
I guess if he'd lied to the court because he was off burgling he would have been told he was a very naughty boy & sent home.
One more triumph of judiciary over Justice.....

"Not a Terrorist Attack"
Strange how fast the authorities in Belgium came to that conclusion isn't it:
"Officials have ruled out organised political terrorism but have yet to determine why he opened fire."
If a white guy had committed the same atrocity against Muslims, it would immediately have been labelled a "hate crime" or act of religious terrorism but not if it's a Muslim doing the deed.
This Muslim turd didn't attack his own kind; he attacked white people, who were almost certainly NOT Muslims & it doesn't take much use of Occam's Razor to figure out the truth - unless you are a spineless politician who sees appeasement as the right response.
Sooner or later there will be a huge conflict between two cultures - all brought on by the socialists & their insane belief in "diversity" & "multiculturalism" & I can only hope I'm not around to see it.

Mumia Abu-Jamal......
.....should have been executed no more than five years after his conviction for killing a Police officer.
There's no disputing he did the deed, which makes all other complaints about his treatment & racism moot.
If you deliberately kill someone without legal or moral grounds for committing the act then it's murder & you should expect to be executed.
Now the bleeding hearts have won & the officer's family have been pretty much told that officer Faulkner's life was worth less than that of a murderer.
I'm no supporter of the Police but I most certainly DO support the ideas of justice & retribution.
