Fuck You Big Brother

So Sir David Omand thinks the removal of our few remaining rights to privacy is the correct way to fight terrorism & tyranny?

"Personal data of innocent citizens must be made available to the Government to combat terrorism, according to an influential former security chief.

Sir David Omand, Whitehall's former and security and intelligence coordinator, called for unprecedented Big Brother powers to allow access to private details - including phone records, emails and travel information - to be given to the intelligence services.

Setting out a hugely controversial blueprint for the future of national security he said 'moral rules' about individual privacy would have to be broken.

His 17-page report calls for the creation of a vast state database to gather information about terrorist groups which are increasingly recruiting and operating online.

But he argued that a citizen's right to privacy would have to be sacrificed to allow 'intrusive' intelligence techniques."

Well I have news for him & his fellow neo-dictators:
We don't want your Orwellian dream here, so why don't you just piss off to Russia & lick Putin's arse because he has the same ideas as you have.

I can see why UK governments have refused to have a written constitution & used any excuse to disarm & cow the People, as they'd be staring a revolution in the face otherwise.
The creeps who support these kinds of measures are of the same mindset as the Geheime Staatspolizei in the last days of the Third Reich.
I'm sure our less than honest Home Secretary is wetting herself at the prospect of more power over the Proletariat.

Iran & The West

If one single assertion in THIS article is true, then there should be some senior politicians & diplomats on BOTH sides of the Pond hanging from the nearest tree:

"Iran offered to stop attacking British troops in Iraq to try to get the West to drop objections to Tehran's uranium enrichment project, a UK official says.

The disclosure by UN ambassador Sir John Sawers in a BBC documentary throws new light on backroom discussions between Iran and the West."

"It emerges from interviews with both Iranian and American officials that after 11 September, 2001, Tehran collaborated so closely with the US in order to topple the Taleban and remove al-Qaeda from Afghanistan, that they even provided intelligence information to pinpoint military targets for bombing."

Hillary Mann, one of the US delegates, remembers how one Iranian military official pounded the table in his eagerness to get the Americans to change targets.

"He unfurled the map on the table and started to point to targets that the US needed to focus on, particularly in the north," she told the BBC.

"We took the map to Centcom, the US Central Command, and certainly that did become the US military strategy."

How many US & UK soldiers died because Bush & his neocon buddies held a grudge against Iran for historical reasons.

Read the article & then will someone PLEASE tell me what the fuck was the idea behind alienating Iran's (at the time)"moderate" leadership.

Stella Rimington & the "Climate of Fear"

Whilst not disagreeing with the former head of MI5 in her statement on anti terrorist legislation, I DO find the timing of it somewhat suspect.

Successive UK governments - both Conservative & Labour - have implemented legislation placing ever greater restraints on what citizens of the UK can & cannot do, yet she picks NOW to point this out, when it is of most benefit to the Conservatives.
When, not if, the Conservatives form the next government, I'll guarantee that they wont revoke a single piece of "anti terror" legislation enacted over the last 12 years.

Introducing new laws to "prevent" illegal actions is complete & utter bollocks, as those the legislation is intended to effect have ALREADY shown that they disdain the laws currently in place & thus are plainly willing to ignore any & all new laws in the same manner.

What the UK (& other so-called "democracies") needs is a NEW form of government, where the aim is to remove, revoke & abolish most of the laws introduced in the past century & then ENFORCE those that remain.
We don't need stupid laws such as the soon to be abused restriction on photographing Police officers or members of the armed forces, nor do we need ID cards, imprisonment without trial, internal exile (yes it does exist & is happening NOW), or any other bullshit these control freaks desire.

Let's start by reintroducing the death penalty & using it where necessary; treason is a reasonable charge to use against those British citizens who plan & commit acts of terrorism, as is murder for those who succeed in their aims.
Sort out the terrible mess of (virtually) unregulated immigration & DEPORT those who have no right to be here, along with those who despise our way of life.

I seem to have gone somewhat "off topic" here but the connection between current problems & a historical abuse of power are there in plain view & we MUST change this if we are to survive as a nation.

Leaving the EU would be a start.....

Islamic Extremism & Wishfull Thinking

It looks like the cretins in Government might have seen what any rational person has known for a while; that including radical loonies in your discussions on how to deal with them is about as dumb as it gets:

I've an even better idea than this "new approach":

Deportation.

If you hate this country & want to live in an "Islamic Paradise" (what we in the West refer to as a "shithole") brought about by killing people then fuck off & live there.
In fact, you can take your wife, kids, mum, dad, aunties & uncles with you.

Don't whine about being a British citizen, because you abandoned that the moment you chose radicalism as your path & can revert to the nationality of your forbears for all I care.

Now if these buggers don't want to leave & see it as their duty to force this nation to follow Sharia "law" then I have a different solution; it's called "reintroducing the Death Penalty for treason".
If they don't like it then option "a" is still available.

Golliwogs Schmolliwogs

Ooo, err!!!

Maybe the thought police will be after me for using the "G" word.

This shit is really starting to get out of hand:

"Managers of a gift shop on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk have apologised after they were found to be selling golliwog toys.

The dolls have now been withdrawn from sale and a spokesman said the managers "did not intend to offend anyone".

The news came after Carol Thatcher was axed from The One Show after referring to a tennis player as a "golliwog".

The BBC said on Wednesday evening that "a few hundred" viewers had complained about its decision.

The £9.99 golliwog toys had been on sale in the Sandringham shop for more than a year"

I guess the PC brigade see that black dolls are only allowable if they're anatomically correct in all areas, whilst any white dolls can look like the late, unlamented "Cabbage Patch Kids" without a word being said.

Not in my book.

They're JUST FUCKING DOLLS YOU POLITICALLY CONSTIPATED TOSSERS.

Now bugger off & do something useful, like stick your heads in a vat of hot oil.
