"The Liberal Democrats have called shadow immigration minister Damian Green's arrest a "mayday warning" for democracy amid cross-party anger over the move.
Mr Green was arrested, held for nine hours and had his two homes and offices searched by police investigating alleged leaks from the Home Office.
Tory leader David Cameron called the police operation "alarming" and said the government had questions to answer."
For the Prime Minister & his Home Secretary to deny any foreknowledge of the arrest is a blatant lie that only a fool would believe.
Just as worrying is that the Police officers who planned & carried out the arrest & search did so without apparent protest, thus reinforcing the view that they no longer serve the public but rather the State. The deployment of anti terrorism officers in this case smacks of a show of force & an attemt to intimidate others who might consider exposing government duplicity & dishonesty.
One more step on the road to truly dictatorial government.....

Yet it barely features in the news.
In The Scum it was page 9 news on Friday.
Shocking.
No surprises there - news gets in the way of tits 'n gossip.
For once, the Beeb is doing its job & headlining this.
I wonder who they'll intimidate next.....
The first 8 pages were about some kind of kerfuffle in Dirka Dirka land....
